DSM Lanterne rouge candidates cheating by arriving late for their starts

If they miss their slot, does the actual time start only when they cross a timing beam anyway?
Certainly not in the past. If it changed it was done very quietly
If so, feels a bit unfair that they are timed to the nearest 100th of a second, and yet are started by a be-blazered bloke with a finger pattern? I know with skiiing the beep-beep-beep-go signal is the time until they can start, but the actual start is triggered by the bar they push out of the way. Would be surprised if the grand tour ITTs were less sophisticated than that?

Cavagna fastest at check 1. We should get a better idea of expected times from him

It’s not only in aiding accelerations that Syncros believes its new wheels will give riders an advantage. The one-piece construction is said to also allow faster cornering and better handling through stiffness optimisation.

How many are actually going for the win? Even Cavagna in the hot seat said he could have done better. Most are just getting through the day in prep for tomorrow.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Some people thinking late rain might get a surprise early start winner

It's pretty rare to get a wet TT without someone on the deck.

High risk of that with the final two if it's wet.

Only just turned on ITV4 streaming, are others descending off the aero bars like Latour did until the gradient flattened out?

Watching without sound (have the womens cricket on) WTF happened to Lafay? Was it just hitting the road markings?

Campenaerts trying to garner attention by riding incredibly overgeared.

Genuinely thought they were showing Campenaerts in slow motion then until I saw people clapping at normal speed.

Seems a bit odd Powless is targetting the KOM time, done the whole course on a road frame, but with TT wheels.

So Kung went for the bike change.

    Better than Ciccone's kit change.

WvA sets off... Is he going to try and set a competitive time, or just safely get inside the cut off, to leave him fresher for tomorrow's brutal stage?

He's 100% going for the stage win.

Is there a rule that prevents them sticking some aero bar extentions on a road bike?

Don't think so as long as it doesn't break tt position rules
