‘Say hello to my Lidl friend’.

Of course Pedersen won when I decided to pick Girmay instead. Pog managed 10th on the stage.

As an early defender of the Lidl jersey, from before it was released into the wild, I'm now sure that it's the best jersey in the peloton. I like the new Astana too, but not for visibility.

It's a bit 'Toy Story' for my liking 🤔

Hadn’t noticed how well he came back through. I thought he’d sat up after getting baulked by his own leadout.

Could have been worse considering when he went down, that was a good effort chasing. Might cost him tomorrow though.

Tomorrow's stage - I've been up the Puy de Dome on foot and with the railway taking half the road it's pretty narrow. Just wondering if a) it'll be a bunch coming into it and b) if spectators are allowed.

Beautiful part of France though and good cycling country.

Groenewegan tried to block him coming up to the line. What a nob.

According to PCS today is Pidcock's 50th GT stage start. Only seems like he's been around for 1 minute.

    . I make it 29 stages ...last year 21 ,+ 8 however 21 from another GT somewhere ?

He did a vuelta against his will. Must've been 2021.
