    I'd be no use as a commentator trying to build things up. Don't think the break has any chance. On that basis I should probably lay Cort.

    The gap isn't dropping that fast. But 2'10" with 45k to go in a 3 man break doesn't seem likely.

    I haven't been paying attention, but Cavendish has done well to be in the main peloton when Vine and Groves are not.
