I remember talking to some bloke back in the summer who had invested a fair bit in Tesla amd was trying to persuade me to pile in (was sitting on the same table as him at a wedding and he got onto the subject). Thought better of taking his advice - wonder how he's feeling now?briantrumpet said:Well, FZ's sales pitch isn't doing much for Tesla's share price... another 10% wiped off today. It's been an impressive 12 months.
Poorer, I guess.
Muskbros and cryptobros are very similar (indeed often the same). I'm sure it is a sign of unappreciated genius and the stock is about to double...
I just wonder how much lower Tesla can go before it's thought to be undervalued...0 -

Tesla’s order wait time in Europe has plummeted from circa 9 months just 6 months ago to almost immediately now.focuszing723 said:

New orders are not keeping up with supply and they have a long inventory list now.
So ‘in demand’ they may be, but not enough demand for the supply. They have cut production in China this month and it looks likely they will soon be laying off in America.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
As the traditional car manufacturers catch up, which they have, does Tesla not just become another GM?0

I suspect that's part of the share price readjustment... they have a tendency to look past hubris and bullshit.0 -
Sure, but globally the economy is on a down turn. The Rookie said:

In my superior opinion Tesla should kick off a smaller more affordable EV smartish, Model 2 or whatever.0 -

What are Tesla actually offering now that is any different to what’s on the market from VW, Hyundai or Kia? They’re just another car company and if anything are now tainted by Musk’s recent behaviour.focuszing723 said:

Batteries are probably still more advanced. Other than that the ability to use their charging network was the big selling point when I was considering electric but the thing about their connections being opened up to others presumably kills that.skyblueamateur said:

I would guess cutting edge battery technology and with that range, charging network, progress to self driving/safety. It's true though the competition is getting stronger, something Musk encouraged from the get go.skyblueamateur said:

Range is such now that it’s not really an issue. I’m sure that progression with battery technology will continue but I don’t see Tesla as anything other then a traditional car manufacturer now.focuszing723 said:
