    Well it was attacks of desperation from Pog. Vin never looked in trouble.

    Fair play to Vin and jumbo. WvA is super human, he’s not normal. He can TT, climb mountain passes, win sprints, cx. Anything he can’t do.

    QS bossing the final group to protect Jakobsen. 7.4km to go right now - the time gap disappears as soon as the line is crossed so can't help with how much they can slide.

    Time limit is 40:46, btw

    Didn't realise Pog's left shin and knee were so bashed up after that slide, until his last minute to the finish.

    Hopefully we finally have a few years of genuine rivalry here for the first time in over a decade.

    Thomas seemed to get going again to come back strong at the end. He'd been haemorrhaging time either side of his bike change and seemed to be losing a second every pedal turn at one point. You could see it coming for 1-2km before he got dropped though, he was stem watching every few seconds.

    If some people felt McNulty's ride yesterday was incredible I wonder what WVA's ride today counts as. At least he had the good grace to look dead when he pulled off but then cruised in not far behind Pog.

    Just the top 3 within 10 mins of leader (G 3rd at 8 mins, Gaudu 4th at 11 mins). Appreciate there's still 3 stages to go, but has this ever happened in the modern era?
