David Millar suggesting that the collapse was just a result of too much work on the Galibier by Pog.

As has previously mentioned, he's done too much over the first 10 stages, not just on the Galibier: a lot like Yates in the 2018 Giro.
The UAE party line is that he had feeding issues coming off the Galibier.

Too what extent the damage is temporary or permanent, I guess we will find out in a few hours.

When Simon Yates went, he managed to ship 38 minutes on one stage, then 45 minutes on the next, not 3.

Like you say, we'll only find out if he can't stay with the pace today.

Has anyone from Jumbo-Visma explained why they burnt out Van Aert to pick up a cooked Roglic plus UAE's top mountain domestique and a bunch of other GC hopefuls?
    I'm still mystified.

Miscalculation... Didn't matter in the end

Presumably the only way the 1 - 2 would work for Jumbo was with Vini and Rog, not with Vini and, for example, Stevie.

Not heard Alan_a's music yet 😕

Sadly 1 of the wean's passport still hasn't returned... 5 months now... And they have her Aussie passport too.

    Grrrr

But saw the Legoland stage yesterday. Stayed off the socials then watched the whole thing at night. Everything is Awesome

David Millar suggesting that the collapse was just a result of too much work on the Galibier by Pog.

    I think that's most likely -
Robbie McEwan mentioned a few times he was doing too much so even at the time it raised eyebrows .

With hindsight you have to wonder if he even had to mark Roglic rather than waiting for 2-3 domestiques to get back and set a pace - you can forgive him that though with WvA up the road as who knows what gap Roglic would have pulled out.
Vindegaard was surely putting just as much effort in as Pogacar though? It was only really Thomas that was measuring his effort. Roglic and Pogacar suffered on the final climb, Vindegaard didn't.

    Edit.
Stage 12 is underway so, stage 11 got a current race situation post by mistake.

Pog was chasing both Roglic and Vingegaard attacks, so no, Jonas didn't do as much work.

I think it's probably a lot worse to work when you're empty as well
