Really hope it isn't Covid taking effect as I want to see Pog trying to fight back.

2' 52" lost on the line.

I may have mentioned this, but I think Jonas might be a genuine threat to Pogacar

Stage. Tomorrow should be fun, or not if they're all knackered

Carlton with the nonsense as vinegar crosses the line is a cherry to top off a fantastic stage

"He used to pack fish... He's landed a big one today!"

I actually thought he was alright today, maybe it's the shorter bursts they're using him here.
Yep I've not had to mute him yet this year. Maybe I've softened to him

And they've got to cycle all the way back down now.

Wow, hopefully Pog is simply suffering from the 2000m+ elevation and not Covid, great win by Jonas.

Well, so how are everybody's words tasting?

I think I need to chase mine with some of that larch liquor that BS was on about in the stage description....

High intensity glycogen burning efforts cost races .. ask Yates

The gap that Gaudu and Yates created shows just how much Pog was suffering. Did Thomas lose a place of GC despite gaining over a minute on Pog?

One of the better GC mountain stages I can remember in the Tour for a long time. I thought they'd gone too big too early when it all came back together at the bottom of the final climb.

1st chance to watch the whole stage live, I got lucky!

I reckon that's the best live stage I've seen since Froomes Giro stage 18, probably even better as a whole spectacle, so much going on

Me too. The years of Mountain Trains really put me off watching mountain stages but this has certainly gone some way to undo that. Couldn't take my eyes off it

Hunger knock, Corona or lack of legs?!

Someone was saying on comms that he hadn't yet been properly tested at higher altitudes, could be as simple as that.

Corona, UAE heavily depleted... and maybe he also has a dose?

    Proper racing though.

Thomas's ride has almost made up for the travesty of a neglected Cav for me.

Nice touch for Pog to smile and acknowledge Vingegaard's ride.

If it wasn't for Vingegaard dominating the race it would be really close

Wasn't that the one Bernal left everyone for dead at altitude before the stage was ended early?

He's also being wastefully using energy like a Russian oligarch.
Not just today, but how many stages has he put in an all out sprint at the end for little no profit?

Yep that's the one. They went over the Iseran and the day before the Izoard and the Galibier.
