Are they using Ineos as the domestiques?0

Hope so - nobody wants to see a line of those special Jumbo Visma jerseys on the front.1

Pretend Vingegaard is going for the win* and let Pog chase him until Rog sprints for the win. Trouble is that it is the best legs that will win. Rog has to hold on to Pog and beat him in the TTs.rick_chasey said:The real question is what do do with the Jumbo team to beat Pog?

Dennis will be hard at work coming up with his next reason for another rapid team change……..
Silly boy. Should have stuck with Ineos"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.1 -
Look at it from Jumbo Visma's perspective.
Rohan Dennis cannot help Ineos, or harm Jumbo Visma. Job done any way.The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

You would have thought this is a pretty big disappointment for Dennis. I certainly saw him in all the predicted Tour selections until he wasn’t picked!
What a team though. I look forward to seeing what their plans are for beating Pog.1 -
Find someone with COVID and get them to cough at him repeatedly?gregster04 said:You would have thought this is a pretty big disappointment for Dennis. I certainly saw him in all the predicted Tour selections until he wasn’t picked!

Don’t even joke about it! Let’s hope we can get through without too many mentions of the C word.JimD666 said:

Lotto-Soudal are next to announce their squad:
Lotto-Soudal (Belgium)
Caleb Ewan (AUS)
Reinardt Janse van Rensburg (RSA)
Frederik Frison (BEL)
Florian Vermeersch (BEL)
Brent Van Moer (BEL)
Philippe Gilbert (BEL)
Andreas Kron (DEN)
Tim Wellens (BEL)
Basically, Ewan and his sprint train with Gilbert, Kron and Wellens hunting any other stages. Gilbert’s last Tour, would be nice for him to get one.0 -

Be interesting to see what Ineos can pull out - must be their weakest Tour team for a very long time - not sure any of their 3 leaders would have been even their second rider for much of Sky/Ineos' history.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]1

Yeah, I'm not expecting miracles with big ring Pog on the scene, but it's another name to follow through the three week chaos.DeVlaeminck said:Be interesting to see what Ineos can pull out - must be their weakest Tour team for a very long time - not sure any of their 3 leaders would have been even their second rider for much of Sky/Ineos' history.

Will Thomas last 3 weeks though?.
The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

I know I shouldn't feed the troll, but in his career Thomas has started 16 Grand Tours and finished 13 of them. I don't think there can be any doubts about his durability.2

No I agree and on the face of it he has more of a claim to be a protected rider than Yates who is no longer a young rider and has never reached the heights Thomas has.andyp said:I know I shouldn't feed the troll, but in his career Thomas has started 16 Grand Tours and finished 13 of them. Martinez has flown a bit under my radar but didn't he have a disappointing TdS?[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]1 -

He may have finished 13 but how many has actually finished without having to scrape in because he's fallen off in some random ridiculous way?.The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

Froome makes the Israel-Premier Tech line-up.
Don't know why they are bothering taking him, he crashed out of the Tour once so is clearly a liability.1 -
