Why don't you post this 4 times?

Looks like I posted it enough times to get a response from you.

Anyway, more to the point, it has 66 (yes, sixty-six) electronic switches available to the driver for use while driving. Yes, I'm a sad git, and counted them all: on stalks, on the steering wheel (both thumbs), on the door, to the left of the steering wheel, to the right of the steering wheel, on the radio display, on the heating control panel. Totally, utterly, certifiably nuts.

I like how they hid "Vehicle does not start" and "Gearbox damage" in amongst the many cosmetic damages. 😂
Good luck!
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

On the plus side, when it gets handed back they’re going to find it hard to find anything to pin on you.

Have they actually asked for it back? Check the small print in case you are responsible for disposal.

66 switches seems overkill, but It's the knob behind the wheel I worry about most.😆

Sounds like an improvement on the car you own 😉

Sounds on a par with the average car in Mauritania!!
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

You laugh, but many a Cake Stopper would be proud to drive a car like those.

I had a SAAB 2.2T SE. Christ that was like the inside of a Concorde. 57 dials/switches not including the sub functions which would easily push the function list above a ton.

Judging by the three bolt wheel pattern I believe they must be Renaults (possibly Peugeots) so I'd hazard a guess they might be last year's models or maybe the year before?

Mine costs rather less than £300 per week. I've not counted the switches, but it's less than 66 of the feckers.

Are you counting the door handles and seat adjustments?

Reminds me of a Greek hire car I had from a cheap local provider in the final week of the holiday season. An early 00s Seat Ibiza. The guy who lent it to me just coloured in the “scrapes” diagram and said “don’t crash” and walked off.

One of them is a Renault 12, which makes it at least 45 years old.

I thought it may be a 16. Doesn't Mauritania still have mine fields? You have to be guided through the desert if you want to get across.

Nah. I had a Renault 16. You could probably drive that over an exploded mine crater and not notice. 16" of suspension travel. Was like driving a boat.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

The boss is getting one of these delivered today. After consulting me on his options and I dwayed him towards the Aston 🙂
Not that I'm biased or anything but they use AMG engines.

I think the design language has lost its way a bit.

How can it get lost when it's barely moved anywhere for the last 20 or so years?

It’s getting closer to a maxi-MX5. 😉

Yeah, looks like an Aston Martin that has had a bit too much cosmetic surgery and is wearing too much make up.

Looks very similar to our red MX5

Ah, so not an Austin Maxi then.
1 -
Nobody prefers an Aston Vantage to their current car then?

Where are you going to drive a 200mph supercar in the UK?
