A small prediction. The TT results on stage 5 will be a lot different than those on stage 20. Especially comparing the Slovenians.

Qhubeka Assos announce a new naming sponsor, Nex Inter, and will be riding the Tour as Qhubeka-NextHash. 5 year deal agreed.

Lots of comments on social media about whether they are a viable company. There is a lot of activity in this field at the moment, and lots of venture capital, but this company is not one that is seemingly well known.

Will drop a line to a friend who knows far more about this area than I do.

Here's some Tour trivia. The youngest rider in the race is Fred Wright. His dad is an actor and one of his roles was in The Flying Scotsman, playing Francesco Moser

Venture capital is mainly about extracting cash, not long term investing.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Prefer the purple and orange kit, if I'm honest. At least it stands out.

At the team presentation Froome arrived about a minute after his teammates which doesn't bode well for the future, getting dropped at this stage

Disappointment as the Astana presentation goes by without a drunk and naked Vino storming the stage.

These team presentations are a cringefest. I understand its great for the sponsors etc but its among the dullest tv you'll ever see and its clear the riders do not want to be there. And what the hell was the BMX dude with all the 'mofo' music all about!?

It was if someone had a quiet word and said this is a bit young for the audience. So then they sent out a fiddle and an accordion instead

The bib shorts need to be black with a touch of yellow and purple. Looks mismatched currently.
