Don't get why Movistar and Quickstep didn't try to shell Colbrelli on the climb if Valverde and Asgreen are looking to sprint for the stage. Reduced peloton just rode up the climb at threshold. Seems rather stupid.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230

Movistar only had their GC riders left in the front group (Mas & Lopez). Quick Step had no-one. There wasn't much more they could do. And Colbrelli a really good climber.Twitter: @RichN951 -
