    Is Evenepoel's accident last year causing him head issues when descending? It was the downhill sections on gravel that worried him most too. Hopefully he can sort that if so.

    Part the accident, part the fact he's still a very young rider that spent his youth playing football instead of sliding a bike round a muddy cross course.

    If I remember rightly, he'd left a big gap when he crashed last year and wasn't really following the lines of the riders ahead

    The descent from the Fedaia to Canazei isn't very technical. The Pordoi descent is more so as there's 20 odd switchbacks, but there's a pretty long false descent between Arabba and the foot of the Giau to get things back together. The question is whether teams try and shed the domestiques on the Fedaia and Pordoi or not.
