8.5km to go (welcome) ineos driving the peloton hard, roughly 20-30 riders left in the peoloton.

Bennett already out the back with one domestiques with him, though he's just got back so perhaps pace not that high.

And it wasn't the driver doing the exchange with the race director car because the driver is on the left. So he has no excuse

Yeah but the driver is often the DS so they were probably talking to the race director over the passenger.

Looks like a small acceleration in the peloton as it's more strung out under inoes pressure at 7.5km to go.

It looked like Matt White in the passenger sear

Shame Ineos lost Sivakov, but probably good for the rest of the teams as they are looking like they used to at the moment.

Gap to the leaders just under 2 mins with 7k, not closing that quickly now

Looks quite fast now at 7km to go, really strung out - Castroviejo

Fair enough, I've often seen their backstage pass videos where White is driving, which is why I said it. I guess they will take it in turns.

Rich thinks he beat Ganna for the win.

I'm sorry, I thought it would grow on me, but it hasn't. That EF kit is dreadful...

Reckon Castro's about done and Moscon struggling so there should be some attacks coming up (hopefully).

Moscon takes over, Castroviejo back behind him but Moscon looks quite uincomfortable and the peloton bunches up when he's on the front. 5.9km to go....

Status quo at 5km to go. Too fast to do much, too slow to drop the help for all the big teams.

    Break at 1,36

Ineos struggling to keep the damage going once Ganna pulled off, other teams are now coming to the front.

Castroviejo was doing a good job, he just had a puncture. Ineos now need to keep some support for Bernal so they couldn't keep the same pace.

QS take over on the peoloton. Martinez not so happy about it
