Rai have forgotten to put a Euro in the metre again and Hannah Barnes has turned up to give her twopence worth.

It's Hannah Walker, not Hannah Barnes.
Oh, okay. I heard Rob H call her Hannah and I assumed it was her.
    I can't recall Hannah Walker.

Made the same assumption, had to look her up. Seems pretty knowledgeable though.

Remember her dad well though, Raleigh Banana were my favourite team back in the late 80s / early 90s and my first proper bike was a team replica.

    I am behind now.
Was waiting on Wallonie and that failed to materialise on time too.

If they can’t cope with bad weather at 1000 metres they had better pray to the weather gods before the Dolomites arrive

Ineos pressing on, DeMarchi dropped, breakaway being reeled in. Weather still horrible.

That split in the peloton happened quickly. Would be good to know who else in there bar Ineos.

This is fascinating - all the remaining Ineos riders making it absolutely miserable for everyone else.

Ineos go full echelon across the road, a gap opens, and suddenly people are sprinting like mad to ty and get back on. Quickly settles back down, but quite amusing moment.

They all use the same feed.
    One goes, they all go.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Bettiol getting a bit fed up in the break / chasing group (I haven't got a clue what's what now)

I really want to see Ganna having a full blown crack at the Classics, especially P-R.

A 40km descent in that weather is filthy.

Ganna seems to enjoy these conditions, he could be an honourary Belgian..
  • Brutal conditions, a few clearly suffering.

like an express train going thro that chasing group. Why are Ineos dishing it out? Distance a few?
  • The Maglia Rosa group is now over 6 minutes behind the peloton.

Still smashing it on the front at the start of the climb and even his own team are struggling to follow his wheel.
