    Alright mate.

Well if you post censored someone will call you out on it.

it's not shiit, but if you want to call it that so you can keep on using "Manure", then go for it.
I don't use the term Manure - but it's about as offensive as Leicester Shi tty, Chelscum or some other juvenile use of language.

The urban myth that you've referenced would also have us believe ManU and Man Utd are offensive for similar reasons - that they originated in chants about Munich. That is not only unlikely it can be proven to be untrue. My father in law is a Man Utd fan of that era and uses both (obviously not manure) .

    He uses "Man U"?

I thought it was also in the link I sent you. Honestly, your father in law needs to do a bit of reading. He’s the first United supporter I know who refers to them as “Man U”.

I mean you’ll probably just tell me I’m posting sh1te again.

You mean New York Stock Exchange. NYSE is an insult related September 11th.

I've heard loads of United supporters all them Man U (OK probably arm chair fans that have never seen Old Trafford in the flesh). This the first I've ever heard of it being linked to a Munich taunt (same with Manure that I always took to be a childish play on words).

You are though - he doesn't need to do a bit of reading as he was going to games when some of the people writing this stuff weren't born.

Official club merchandise from back in the day - this guy actually died in the air disaster - from a Man Utd fans forum before you accuse me of bad taste.

That’s hardly a decent reference, tbf.

I’m not saying merchandise with Man U doesn’t exist, just saying you don’t hear supporters use the term. Because of the Leeds’ chant.

Anyway, decent result today. Always good to put them in their place, as I’m sure your father in law will agree!

    Predicted final table.
    City
    Liverpool
    Chelsea
    Arsenal
    Man Utd
    Tottenham
    Wolves
    WHU
    Southampton
    Brighton
    Leicester
    Palace
    Newcastle
    Villa
    Everton
    Burnley
    Leeds
    Brentford
    Watford
    Norwich

    Nothing too controversial.

Man Utd to fall short - their slight revival has been on the back of some very favourable fixtures. Arsenal to get top 4 on the basis they'll be less inconsistent than the others.

Leeds and Brentford to fall away - lack of Premier League quality players - Bielsa's attacking style to get enough 3 pointers to survive even if they take some heavy defeats too.

In commentary yesterday they said Lees have now conceeded 50 goals in 24 league matches this season. They're not going to win many games if they can't sort out their defence.
  • Here is one for the stattos

Neves was lining up a 30+ yard free kick and they flashed up a graphic to say he has scored more goals (7) than anybody else from outside the area and that was from 211 shots.

Two mins later that stat was 7 goals from 212 shots
