    Well it's certainly polarising opinion.

I've decided I really like it. Going to try and buy something when it goes on sale (maybe just a cap, guess the prices will be insane...)
  • TT bikes and wind really don't mix, do they?
  • People really struggling with crosswinds - huge jerks sideways.
  • This is not a TT to dip in and out of.
Anything could happen in the next 3 hours.

  • This isn't going to do anything for my opinion that TT bikes are stupid and utterly pointless.
  • Sagan gets blown all over the shop, starts to very, very obviously knock it off. Can't say I blame him.

Campenaerts not holding back there, pretty much accusing the organisers of negligence.

Yeah, but he kept tapping on. Later on he had a moment and sat up for a while just to get his composure back - it's clear he freaked himself a bit.

Again, Lizzy Banks was vocal about the lax race organisation of Giro Rosa. An Italian thing perhaps?

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

  • Dennis having to ride on the bullhorns rather than the skis due to the wind.

    TT bikes are stupid.

  • Second intermediate split. For reference the fastest time to this point is about 9 minutes.

    Ouch...

Will anyone revert to their road bike?
Would seem a sensible option at this point.

  • Covili crossed the line 6 minutes 52 behind the leader. Surely injured in a crash or something?

He's the only one who has crashed.
The current leader was quite happy with things.
    Fancy that.

The wind is a major headache: are they going to try to blame the organisers for that?

For anyone with no GC ambitions it might be the safest option if this wind gets any worse, yeah.
  • Zabel went with a road bike and is currently the KoM leader. He changed mind.

Covili + 6'52" and OT for sure.

Not so much the wind but unswept roads, gravel on corners etc. Didn't Campenaerts say similar in his post stage rant?
  • Jos van Emden wobbling on the long descent.
