Last man standing?
Seriously though, S10 - Ulissi. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Problem with changing it to 11 for one race is that it confuses the message when there are 3/4 other PTPs running in parallel. And frankly it requires a level of engagement in the timings of the race that none of us really have... very happy for any one complaining to do the scoring.bobmcstuff said:10: Narvaez please
I'd go so far as to say it has *never* helped me. I always think I'm being clever, but my original tip always seems to do better.pblakeney said:I asked that last week and was told, nope. So....
As pointed out, and proven today it doesn't always help anyway.
This was my point - although changing the cutoff to e.g, 11 for the whole race probably wouldn't be such an issue.dish_dash said:Stage 10 Jhonatan Narvaez
The 12pm cut off causes endless controversy. Trying to move the time around makes it harder to be sure that everyone gets a pick in. It's a clear rule. Nothing to stop any one picking at 1159 - you can all do it...
12 is nice and simple. Though it's the reason that @rick_chasey doesn't play, as he was caught the wrong side of it a few too many times0 -
Too right. Both ways. Guys were picking riders well after the race had started (but before 12) and I was picking riders long before the race had started but at 12:05 so not counted.
Couldn't handle that!0 -
I still say it should have been 11:00 for all stages from the beginning as the stages are all starting earlier than they would normally. Might be of no consequence anyway...
A lesson for the Vuelta should it go ahead? The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I'm going to suggest it's one for off season discussion, Vuelta thread going up later today - let's keep to controversial picks for now rather than missing out due to deadline confusionpblakeney said:I still say it should have been 11:00 for all stages from the beginning as the stages are all starting earlier than they would normally.
