Its one thing repainting a bike or blanking out a component. Its another to brazenly use another product.

    At least he’s being honest.

    Or a baby.
  • What's the thinking then, get to circuit and the gap will start dropping quickly? Sort of surprised the gap is that big.

but whats the actual deal with that on road bikes ? TT bikes I kind of get can be an issue, as Linda Villumsen almost got sacked for breach of contract by her trade team for riding a different manufacturer bike in the ITT, they only let her off because she won it

but the Beeb had an article this week on the whole Dennis BMC/Merida thing saying how TeamGB would be riding Cervelos, and remembering how unusual it seemed for Cav to ride his non TeamGB bike all the time, but that was Cav and I thought well I also know Lizzie D will be on her Trek, and the Barnes sisters would be on their Canyons, and it would probably be similar for the mens, but then maybe junior riders probably would use Cervelos, though Backstedt used a Colnago in the ITT,but Storey Racing use Boardmans, so will she now have to switch to Trek in the future ?

So it doesnt seem clear at all what the expectations should be for riders to do in this case, no-one has said fwiw Dennis is contractually obliged to ride a merida road bike whilst representing his national team,

My guess is they’re not paying him anymore so he’s just riding what he wants.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

If this were a local road race they would ring the bell the next time they cross the line and nobody would mind.

Riding for 6 hours in those conditions looks almost as unpleasant as listening to Rochelle's voice for that length of time...

As grim as it looks, it isn't actually that cold.

Why do the uk terrestrial broadcasters feel the need to subject us to insufferable middle class noddies like JJ Chalmers and Matt Barbet

She's got a strange accent. Not your standard kiwi.

Just seen the peloton go past we're at bout 500m to go. Great atmosphere despite the rain - wall of noise as they came up.

    Going for a wander
