    You do know he's British?

what has that got to do with anything?

    #confused

    Easy formula:

Cheat + Foreign = lifelong stain on character, no way back, boos all the way
Cheat + British = say sorry and everyone cheers you, you get a job with the national governing body, a nice gig on TV, and launch your own clothing range. See also Linford Christie.
Nah. Pretty much every cyclist (with the notable exceptions) was on something or other up until recently. It's just glossed over. Belge pot anyone?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Very nearly my point.
Everyone is glossed over. Except the bully Armstrong, for non doping reasons.

Valverde, Vinokourov, Pantani, Contador. How we enjoyed the beef being waved at him.

Despising Millar more than other former drug cheats just because he actually campaigned against doping after getting caught and serving the punishment is not logical. It's very emotional, personal opinion. Please do not push it as anything else or it gets sanctimonious.

And comparing him with Lance 'would do it again' Armstrong is completely off the rocker.

i can't. he's fallen asleep in hs dinner.

but if you are agreeing with the fact that we should ignore the fact he is a lying cheat and that everything he lied and cheated about is ok now because he's british and not a johnny foreigner and thats its not hypocritical at all oh no then thats cool - grazie.

What is it with you and evidence these days. Most dull like you’ve been on a local authority jobsworth “brushing off complaints “ course.

I’m not a vet but I recognise a horse when I see one. Nor do I record a copy of every time I see one but that doesn’t mean I’ve never seen one.

    this.

its the sanctomious preaching hypocritical way his pr people have instructed him to try and turn his situation around by getting him to all contrtite.

    he took drugs
    he cheated and lied
    he got caught
he then tried to lie again and failed, dismally

not even enough cojones to stand up for himself

What is it about evidence that you don't like..? I find it quite a useful tool for weeding out the irrational bullshitters from what should be a reasonable discussion, so in that sense you're kind of answering your own question...

What evidence can you provide that you're capable of competently assessing evidence? Or are you just looking for things to reinforce your ideas? Or dispense with opinions that contradict yours?

Probably the best non-sequitur anyone will ever read on here. Which kind of confirms your status in the 'irrational bullshitter' category, because if you can't offer any proof or evidence then that's really all you've got..

    youre forgetting that

A this is a forum on the internet about cycling
B its mostly supposition and opinion
C ultimately if this is really important to your estimation of self worth you should stop and seek help / ride your bike if you have one

I simply asked someone (not even you) to back up their claims with some evidence. But you decided you simply had to get involved yourself.

Maybe it's you who needs to get over yourself and/or get a life and/or ride your bike if you have one.
