Haha, no - it's user-chosen, I'm sure. I expect Rick is busy with his bank manager asking for an exceedingly large loan to donate to infrastructure projects somewhere.

Teehee. No, it says he's banned on his profile as well. Very odd.

More like invest it in coke and hookers, would be mad not too at these historically low rates and just think of when the multiplier effect kicks in

Yeah. One minute he was posting and then gone. Of course if he had posted something wildly offensive that would have disappeared as well. Seems a bit unlikely though.

    Indeed.

Maybe he was actually Boris Johnson trying out an alter ego, and now he's going to be a father (again), Carrie's told him he's got to spend more time with the family. Well, the one he's currently with.

You mean he wasn't Titania McGrath's alter ego?!

I assume you've factored in that the actual cost will more than double to at least £5bn... but the repayments will still be very reasonable at about £350m per week.

You'll find out when the shelves are empty and you run out. 😱
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

That's actually the best reason to buy bog roll.

Logistically harder in the average western toilet set up.

The Roman's used a sponge on a stick.

(...but apart from that, what did they do for us?)

The sponges were communal weren't they? I think that counts as one of the things the Romans didn't do for us.

with communal sponges or toilet roll ? :D

I popped in my local Waitrose earlier, they stock decent selection of wine & beer fwiw ;) I had to check just to be sure and yep toilet roll completely sold out, checkout assistant told me it had been totally nuts today.

but its hand cream Im burning through, with all this hand washing everytime you touch the communal kettle at work, or open a door, my hands are getting so dry, and you just keep washing what you put back on off

We have about a weeks supply of toilet roll in the house. So I’m hoping this idiocy has resolved itself by then.
I remember the threat of petrol disruption about 5 years ago.
Many of those who recalled the issues of the refinery blockades of around year 2000 dashed out to make instant queues. My boss was one of them. She lost most of the afternoon off work.

I'm sure you will find bog roll for sale on eBay at 'bargain' prices.

Anyway, the 'mystery' of Swing Low Sweet Chariot being sung by Ingerlaand supporters has been 'solved' it seems.

Has this gender irrelevant person never been in the bar of a rugby club after a match? Taken part in a rousing chorus complete with (in)appropriate hand actions? Was there no other fellow keyboard tapper around to say 'erm, there's a bit of history here...'?
