I've had a look back it and would characterise your opinion as "it's all a bit too hard to bother with" others were in the "there are no problems to be solved camp". In any case, I did not advocate it for all crashes, just ones involving heads.

I think that we can both agree that someone falling twenty feet is worth a check. And we both would have done back then.

Anyway this is the Danish fanboy thread so I'll say no more here

Jonas second to Pogacar today, looking like the most serious threat to him... Watch this space....

Anyone can have a jour sans. Not denying Pog is favourite by a mile, but Vingegaard will make him fight for it. Most of the forum completely wrote him off as just getting a freak 2nd last year. When he dropped him on Ventoux it was only "because Pog had 5 mins already"
But those 5 mins came from a mistake on a single stage, where Pog attacked and all the others looked at each other and thought about podium places. I dont think that's happening this year.

    Ahem.
Magnus Cort, now a firm fans' favourite, first day out of polkadots so wins the stage in compensation

There is a touch of "he could pillage me any time" about Mr Court Nilson...

Magnus described his win rituals here. You'll never hear the sound of the Tour helicopter the same 😱

Hope everyone watched that space 😱

Vikings, eh? Even the ones that look 12 years old will try and murder you on a brutal mountain stage 😉

Don't say I didn't warn you about Jonas!

Mads P Viking masterclass. Just make it hard. Cold and wet for 250km? Baking hot and windy just after two stages with 3 HC climbs? Bring it on!

Yep, apparently the Danish royal family has some property in the area. I don't know if it's because the late Prince Henrik (the queen's husband) was a French noble. Prince Joachim presented the yellow jersey today, and apparently Matt Rendel gave Vingegaard an expensive bottle of wine from the Danish royal vineyard

According to itv4, it does not have historic connection with the French family. I guess most nobles would have lost their chateaux (if not heads) during the revolution.

I’m sure they said on ITV4 that the family bought it in 1975

    A Viking horde

Is there a horse holding a beer, cheese and a plate of salami, in that pic?

  • Thought I should probably add Mads P's Vuelta green jersey, three stages and record points haul here. Was a shame Sam Bennett had to withdraw, it became a bit of a walkover for green in the end

  • Mathias Skjelmose wins Tour of Luxembourg, coming 2nd on the final stage. He won the TT the day before. This is his first pro win, just short of his 22nd birthday
