Quick word on Søren Kragh Andersen, really nice 5th place, beat the nearest young rider by 31". Great talent.

Have to say, although Thomas walked it, it’s nice to see a mixture of riders winning.

Think all 3 guys on the podium have been pretty classy, even if I’m no Froome fan.

Froome took the realisation Dumoulin was the winner very graciously. From Dumoulin's interview it sounded like they all thought Froome had it to begin with.

It all comes down to whether you think is Ireland part of the British Isles

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

thomas was way stronger... and tactically perfect... i guess he had good advice from multiple sources there.

the whole race was pretty tactical and everyone understood the tactics as they played out.

I reckon G would have won if he had not slowed down for the corners. Saying in his interview that he took them all very gingerly.

    Sky with a 2,3,4. That's strength.

how on earth can you fight that?

take any just about any team leader from this years tour and they would win with that team.

Well you could assemble a team focused on winning, unlike say Movistar who are consistently less than the sum of their parts with multiple agendas going on

I genuinely do not understand the mentality of Movistar. It's weird. I don't blame Landa for wanting to jump ship. He went there to get to be a leader and lands in the pro-cycling equivalent of Lord of the Flies.

We used to have a rugby league commentator refer to a certain player by his nickname, it was just awful. Personally I think unless you know them personally/close friend then it's disrespectful and as you say cringeworthy, it'd be no different to Rendaell calling Froome, Froomedog.

Is it because you think it's too friendly? I thought 'G' was a nickname he is widely known by?
