Same thing happened on the last rest day. Ag2r 5 start luxury on Lake Annecy.

Of course, it's all done by rota.......

The Team Sky hotel has a pool!

    FRA23170-home2.jpg

    Some suitable refreshments...

    FRA23170-restaurant.jpg

And a bedroom door that looks like something from the Crystal Maze crossed with Battlestar Galactica.

Given that the riders have to share a room, I'm not sure this would be such an advantage.

And now, I can't get the idea of Arthur Vichot and David Gaudu sharing this room. Something like this (but obviously with a dodgy French accent from 'Allo 'Allo!)...

Those curtains don't actually line up with the bed, the bed is longer than the alcove, this is annoying.

You all know a lot more about pro cycling than me, so if my question seems ridiculous or naive, please don't be too harsh.

Shouldn't Froome now be riding ahead of Thomas, to support the yellow jersey? Or doesn't it make much difference to have four, or five, ahead of you? Maybe Thomas doesn't want to ride behind Froome anyway, given what Bradley Wiggins said in the early commentary today? Or maybe it's not up to them anyway? ???

This looks suspiciously like a convoluted way of introducing the topic of what Wiggins said in commentary, but, what the heck, I'll bite. What did he say?

He said in 2012 he preferred to ride in front of Froome not behind as Froome's way of riding was a bit jerky.

Wiggins wasn't on about bike handling, it was the pacing that was inconsistent.

Moscon given the boot following altercation between riders?

Edit - hitting a Fortuneo rider during the stage. The commissioners made their decision after viewing the images.

Which is one reason they say the Alps suit Thomas more than the upcoming stages. He rolls a bigger gear and the Pyrenees are a lot more inconsistent.

Bruyneel was talking about it in Lance's podcast.

Yup, as a, ahem. 'stocky' rider who likes to push a gear, I can attest that the Pyrenees are way harder than the Alps.
