As in pulling out on One Pro? I must admit I thought that too.
  • The Blades on the detailed bike pics LOOK to be a new design. The metal plate is different anyway.

Yeah two piece systems like that have been used for mountaineering forever. Pretty sure quite a number of cyclists will also have used them.

I was looking at an OMM branded one for bike touring but once combined with a suitable down jacket for Scottish temperatures it's not really much lighter than a properly rated sleeping bag (admittedly quite an expensive sleeping bag). I've had enough sh1tty experiences freezing my balls off while bike touring that I am convinced it is worthwhile to fork out a few hundred quid for a really good sleeping bag.

I...I feel like it's a surprising move for them...

Mind you, look out for Taylor Phinney using an all pink one (with lime green trimmings) on next year's TCR...

To be fair, somewhat off topic, but Rapha have sponsored Josh Ibbett for a while now, maybe 3 years? So not really a surprising move for them given they appear to be leaning towards more gravel or adventure leanings.
Wonder if they feel their target market is the US?

Kinda prefer the WWT design, as the WT looks a bit samey in a Lotto-Soudal way to me.

was kind of hoping they were going to go for duck blue for the WWT road team, but I like the colours & kit design theyve chosen & glad its not just a copy of the mens.

but havent they missed out Lizzies rainbow stripes ? as per

It's the weird looking chain that jumps out to me.

Well, the plates don't have the figure 8, or peanut, shape in side view and appear to be completely flat

should allow thinner plates but similar cross sectional area compared to 11speed chains.

Tested 12 speed etap on cyclocross bikes. That's bound to show up any weaknesses in the group without being too high profile

You've got a week to get yourself a Dimension Data team bike. Prices starting at 2500 euros including shipping.

I was gonna say, 2500 bucks is a steal! But actually, that's just the starting bid...

ok, some will go for more than others but you should get one for there or thereabouts.

you'll be able to judge values by looking at what the ex Pro bikes for for on the Canyon website and I think Lotto punt their ones out too. there was thread on here a while ago.

remember that all this stuff is ok - used and abused but ok. unless its something special it is, at the end of the day, just a used bicycle.

either way, buy it. buy it. buy it. buy it now. buy it.

True, but it's a hell of a used bike for 2000 GBP...

The wheels are more than that new and the frame is...what, three times as much? Add in a professional daily service after each ride...

Unfortunately, I think there are more than enough people out there who will pay a lot more than 2000 squids for bike that a pro's ass has touched...especially Cav's and i probably need his frame size... :(

why restrict yourself to hiz bike - its likely a couple of others on the team will be the same size and less famous so it'll be cheaper.

buy it buy it buy it buy it buy it buy it buy it buy it buy it now.
