Has Bilbo got out of the Astana team car, yet?
    Hurrah! Hatch is back.

Having tired of once for about 3 seconds before I nearly shat myself, seeing them descend at the speeds they do sat on the top tube never fails to impress me.

It's really scary. I hit 69kph on a dead straight downhill in Japan earlier this year but I can't imagine doing it on anything with bends...

Over 100kph coming down Crimea pass in N Wales. Perfect road for that sort of thing though

Nice. I was on a borrowed bike, with insufficient health insurance and bottle. :)

Cycling News are really negative about Froomes win yesterday. I hope they're wrong but it seems a shame the sport has got itself in the situation where that sort stuff can't be celebrated.

Froomoulin on the final climb now. Not much of a peloton, but lots of Sky riders about.

CN have very much for themselves into that situation...

Gave up on them ages ago. Fed up with the 6 degrees of Sky game they constantly play with every article

TD doesn't look very aggressive. hanging on if anything.

    Afternoon folks!

I want to thank Blazing for all the excellent race thread openers!

    So Pinot is corked.

Have I missed any other shenanigans?

I'm the last person to cry 'doping', but CN are saying Froomes performance has sent 'shockwaves' yet everyone seems quite happy with Chaves riding super strongly, then exploding, followed by Yates riding super strongly, then exploding.

Oh I see we're doing haikus. Can't have missed much action then.

ddraver at least annoying coffee lady didn't want caramel syrup in her Cafe Sate. (Yes that is what I have just named soy lattes.)

    Nine K M to go.
What is going to happen eh?
    That's a nice lake there.

CN are just clickbait for their forum. End of.

At what point is it too late for TD? It's not a super hard climb, how much can he take from Froome per kilometre? Must be close to too late already.

LL Sanchez finished. Movistar train leading it up the mountain for Carapaz.

Nieve has the stage in the bag.

Carapaz might give it a go out of respect for his leadout, but I get the feeling they're all spent tbh
