Where's Frenchie when you need him? Isn't that just the panache that he was always after?

Just one reason why Hatch is better than Kirby. He actually gives useful information!

You could see them everywhere in yellow high-viz vests. No f*cking about in team kit, blending in with fans.

This stage vs 2016 Paris Roubaix?
  • 50 pages and Yates is still out there.

There's some Italians over in the commuting chat forum complaining about a nodder in a pink jersey

Bilbo slipped quietly into 10th on the stage after all that.

Just got in and switched on tv. WT actual F has happened?

Seriously, don't watch highlights. You should have seen the number of posts here and gone straight for the whole stage live and skip the ads.

I feel bad for you for knowing what happens without seeing it unfold.
Got the whole stage recorded so will sit down later and watch it from the beginning.

I've only been following cycling closely for the last 10 years or so but that was the best stage I've ever watched.

Has to be illness surely? Either that or he just sat up once he knew he was out of it. Not sure how you come back from something like that, it will be a real test of character. I’m gutted for him.

Tough one... This is definitely the best GT I have watched, that's for sure. There have been hardly any dull stages.

I don't think I'll be getting goosebumps watching the highlights in 2 years time though, like with Paris-Roubaix 2016.
