Well I feel a Froome pink

Why, how is he gonna beat Dumoulin by minutes?

So position largely unchanged for Dumoulin.

Yeah, successfully defended his second place and didn't lose more than a handful of seconds on GC. I'm sure he's ecstatic with that result.

Based on his celebration, I reckon Froome has plenty left for tomorrow. Saying that, they'll probably all be on their knees.

Bloody hell Lopez where did that come from.

Not taking a turn and putting his nose in the wind for 80km. That's where that came from.

Impressive by Froome, but I attacked with 100km to go on my sportive yesterday and managed to stay away - he's got some way to go.

Just got in and switched on tv. WT actual F has happened?

Seriously, don't watch highlights. You should have seen the number of posts here and gone straight for the whole stage live and skip the ads.

I feel bad for you for knowing what happens without seeing it unfold.

Seconded. On YouTube, Eurosport only gives 5 minutes of stage highlights. That's not enough to do this epic stage justice

That was an amazing stage to watch! Froome will definitely be tired tomorrow but I can't see Tommy D being much fresher either, they will always be on their knees.

30 minutes of highlights and 30 minutes of adverts, you mean? And they only broadcast the bits with Kirby wittering away.

Is that what's known as riding yourself into form for the 3rd week? Or was the whole crash stuff just a very clever tactical misdirection?! ;-)

Can’t believe I missed the end of that stage. Does everyone think he can hold on tomorrow after that effort? I assume everyone had to go deep anyway so will be equally hard for them to come back.

    What’s the Clinic reaction

Portal saying it was planned - Froome wanted to do all or nothing.
  • Froome destroyed it. That was a privilege to watch.
