I'm going to predict Pozzovivo in pink at the end of the day.

Was my prediction also. Can't help remembering when he won the .... Ummm... Italian stage race on that stage that ended with the climb up the...ummm...super steep climb.

Was the year before he moved to Ag2r. I'm too tired to even Google the ******.

But anyway, that. I reckon he looks good. Failing that someone like Bennet pulling off a surprise wouldn't erm, surprise me.

    Edit:. Trentino. Punta veleno.

    Another completely nuts, Italian climb.
Worth watching again for that hair raising bit of road towards the finish. (27'- 45" ish into the video)

Man, I'd forgotten about that bit until you mentioned it. Proper crazy. Road surface was utterly dreadful too from memory.

Has it been that bad of late? Was up there in Lombardia last year which you don't get to without being a decent bike handler

His execrable descending is one reason why he's one of 'my men'. Something he and I have in common.

100, making the race hard AF doesn't necessarily add to the spectacle

the previous supposed "quiet easy"stages really took it out of the bunch maybe?

    lot of factors

Oh yeah of course, especially the 200+km one

But even if you're feeling good you know that you aren't going to attack today until the final few KMs

Chavez dropped already so it looks like its Yates is on his own.

I wonder if chavez is actually knackered or being petulant

at least that jersey stands out a bit. those ef jerseys make spotting the maglia rosa a bit trying sometimes.
