    Bore off.

I doubt you even knew what a peloton was in the ‘90s when that kind of revalation was relevant.

Lol, and as if when you’re a cheat you decide to drop over 3 minutes before bothering to juice yourself up to gain a whole 6 seconds back.

I suggest you stop watching cycling, and stop reading cycling forums.

Well Froome is going to leap-frog Pozzy and Peanut after the TT.

whats the gc...sssss looking like now.

on that showing, Froome could get on the podium.

Yates 1-24" lead on Dumoulin or there abouts.

Yates will more than likely be playing catch up after the TT

You think he’s got a Lazarus comeback in him?

Wasn’t far enough ahead of Yates & Tom for me to think he can.

For me that result ever so slightly favours Yates over TD, plenty more climbs to come, TD might take the lead in the TT but a winning lead is another thing.

Be interesting to see what Froome does from here, he has the form, the team and already has a stage win, hopefully he'll gamble on a 1 in a hundred Contador style long range attack.

classy ride by froome. must be said.

Yes it is annoying how mentally strong he is.

yates looked over geared. even for him...biggest face I have ever seen him pull chasing yates to the line.

Vintage Froome, I thought Yates was going to have him with 1k to go and he looked cooked but obviously held enough back. Part of me wanted Yates to take the stage and get the extra seconds but that was a well earned win. Poels is immense and has to be given his chance next year. Can we now agree Froome’s fall before the prologue had taken it out of him in the first 10 days?

Dumoulin held on well and Yates needs to be more agrressive on the remaining mountain stages if he wants to take pink.

No but he's in 5th now with Pozzy and Peanut ahead of him. He'll surely end up in 3rd after the TT if he keeps this form, whether he keeps this form is another thing entirely though.

Would have had some sympathy with that viewpoint had he done a Landis and taken a packet out of everyone.

6s on Yates isn't that remarkable.

I reckon Froome came in a bit too undercooked. Clearly it was always his plan to come into form later in the race with the tour in mind, but that was always a risky strategy.

Still, if he wants this he is going to have to do a lot more attacking which can only be good for the race!

If Froome can take +/- 1.30 out of Pozzo and Pinot in the TT he's on the podium. Plenty more climbs too of course.

As above, I think that combined with trying what he did in the Tour last year and coming in with the intention of coming good later in the race.

All things considered it's now definitely a two horse race? Natural disasters accepted.

sky might actually help yates out if they ride for the jersey seeing as he can ride that train as haig et al fade.

He's got to deal with tomorrow first. It's one of those short fast climbs at the end which he's been struggling with.
