If anyone needs to work when to get the beers out of the fridge, here's the official timetable:

    http://www.rondevanvlaanderen.be/sites/ ... etable.pdf

Theres so much opportunity to take beers out the fridge its highly likely ill either be asleep or unable to comprehend whats happening by the time the end comes

I'm working on the theory that if I drink enough today I can watch it again tomorrow and still be excited not knowing who's won.

The absolute bollocks that pours out of Kirby’s mouth is unbelievable at times.

Has anyone found a live tracker for the race? I've not seen My Man Luka since he went down with Sep.*

*I have difficulties recognising him, so I'm considering assuming that any Bahrain-Merida rider tat comes on the screen is him.

    8)

I might try and get some Flanders Reds for this afternoon. I have a fridge full of imperial stouts but I don't want to be smashed by 2pm...

Just going to hop on the turbo for an hour anyway.

Sounds like Kirbys rider identification method.
  • I seem to be about the only person who likes Kirby. He’s so ridiculous it’s kinda funny. Bit like Murrey Walker was for the F1.

I'm going to assume that 'my man' Fredrik Backaert has been on the attack (dare I say rampage?) since the Wanty boys are prominent as you'd expect at this stage of the race. Can't pick out his gorgeous ginger locks under his helmet.

*Possibly* My Man Luka in the group that can't quite get a decent gap.

They're on a fast schedule so far, according to the timetable. Slightly quicker than the 45km/h schedule.

I love Wanty. Always chucking riders up the road. Plus all the best people ride Cube bikes ;)

Trying to get in a break on a dual carriageway seems like a thankless task.

Looked to be a 90 year old bloke behind the wheel.
What was that about Murray Walker again? :P
