    Tiesj Benoot has really impressed.
He’s been making GVA, in particular, pull some excellent faces so far this season. It’s a shame he obviously had the same ballet teacher as Froome...
It’s a shame, too, that his team is diminished: I can see him doing a lot of damage on Kwaremont- and particularly Paterberg. But then I can’t really see how he’d stay away solo to the finish unless he’d crushed the entire QS Team...

    21st Century Eddy Bosberg ;).
Who's Eddy Bosberg? The only 20th century Eddy I know is Merckx. He's not Merckx.
    Edwig Van Hooydonck.

Of course. I knew that. I just didn't make the connection from Edwig to Eddy. A man who saw the introduction of EPO and just quit.

His attacks were so slow they used to say he’d phone them in first.

Sporza have been on for an hour. Dry and overcast in Antwerp. They have just finished the sign on.

Awesome... what a way to spend an Easter Sunday... De ronde from start to finish on TV. Only downside is Kirby and the fact the first 2.5 hours will be quiet... But gives me time to line my stomach with chocolate before the beers in the back end :-)

.... oh, and its raining.... woohooo

Well, I am and will be until forced into Kirby land.
No ad breaks and no him: What's not to like?
    Just about at the start.....

Seeing as (most of) you lot are going to have to suffer Carlton while I get Rolf Sørensen I'll allow late picks (also as it's dead easy to re-randomise now, thanks to ducknumber1). Just post a number from 1-25 and another from 1-7 in this format nn-n and make sure it's not on the list above, and I'll find you a rider to love and cherish.

PS - which hellingen is regarded as appropriate to crack the first beer on?

And My Man Luka (lives on the second floor) hits the tarmac with 245km to go, clearly Sep Vanmarcke's fault for being unlucky in close proximity to him.

Kirby talking about how Gilbert might have been considered lucky last year because of the Sagan/GvA crash.

Rick must be fuming if he heard that.

Cheering on my man Koen de Kort, hope to hear nothing for a while as he will be shadow riding in order to assist "big" John dangleknob in the finale

My PTP man doing what he did last time I chose him and inspecting the tarmac. Nice one Sep
