Not looking good for those who said QS would have a rubbish year.

You can switch off when Tersptra does that from 25 kms or so.

    Not a great edition.

I'm getting a bit bored of Sagan.

Sky had so many numbers then nothing.

    Interesting insight re SvM

Sagan tried though. Rather see that than sitting in and then sprinting for 5th

    Chapeau Nikki!!!

    Netjes gedaan man!

    Wat een nummer.

Not a bad result for my PTP, Gilbert into 3rd... Half wanted him to catch Pedersen but I thought he deserved 2nd there.

    He did.

    Impressive win that, fair play.

I know this is no revelation, but van Aert is going to be a monster.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

That's why it's so annoying when he jumps and all the favourites just look around with a vacant expression on their face. How many times do they need to learn?

I was surprised to see Pedersen stick it after doing next to nothing in that 3 man break.

Errr... He made that break and carried on working in it.

    Ahem...........
Sagan or GVA to have a less than stellar season.
Quick Step will still dominate the cobbles as breakthrough rider/s emerge from the shadow of Tom Boonen.

    Incredibly bold predictions here.

Have to say when I saw him at Milram I never really thought he’d be a Flanders Roubaix winner.

(assuming Yves Lampaert retaining his DvV title is a breakthrough rider)

    It’s complicated.
I can’t talk for anyone else, but I had the same thing with Pierre Roland for ages.

He's a bit of a knobmoomin. Top rider, obviously, but a bit arrogant and not always a team player. Remember when Stanndard beat 3 QS riders to win OHN? It was Terpstra that closed the gap on a teammate.

Not sure why I don't really like him. Maybe because he's had the good fortune of being on the right team at the right time and collects wins off the back of incredible team displays. That's a really crap reason though isn't it?

I don't think he looks particularly good on the bike either

Neither of these things should detract from how much talent it takes to be a be a major player on a team that is so stacked with talent though

Good win, took his chance well, great to see mads hold on for 2nd he could of binned it after niki came past.

Sagan just isn’t as good as made out. He’s is still amazing however but people make him out to be a god. Plus I think he’s a bit of a whopper

Could take a step closer to collecting all the monuments.

Also if I was van Aert I'd go to Trek
