isnt the problem in a GT though that the riders are burning so many calories every day, and basically only eating one major meal, its actually harder to keep the weight up, rather than keep it off, not saying they get to eat steak every night, but I thought that was a big issue trying to eat enough to keep going0 -

Depends.
Some riders gain weight.0 -
Well, those who were looking forward to Freeman speaking will be disappointed. He's confirmed he prescribed Wiggins medication, the Jiffy bag contained Flumicil, he didn't prescribe anything he didn't feel was needed and was never put under pressure to do so. He also said he'd prescribe it again in the same situation as part of an holistic approach. So much for the scorned doctor thrown under a bus getting his revenge.0

I note Dan Roan is on the case again. Is there a cycling event significant to the wider media in the near future? Icarus 2, go on, giz a role, go on, go on, giz it...0

He's been in Russia. He must have realised that creating a scandal there will likely result in his death."Unfortunately these days a lot of people don’t understand the real quality of a bike" Ernesto Colnago0 -

This hasn't been posted yet, but Matthew Syed's interview with Dr Freeman is very revealing. It paints Sutton as basically an a-hole, puts the whole jiffy bag think down to a falling out between Sutton and Wiggins* over Range Rover.

It's funny that Syed, seen as a Braislford apologist has got a better interview out of him that Poundshop Paxman Dan Roan.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Heh, poundshop paxman. Bet he loves that one.0

This seems to be a common view of Sutton.Correlation is not causation.0 -

Seems like you can't let it lie either. Just because someone doesn't share your beliefs doesn't mean they can't have their say.
Everyone is so entrenched on the subject it's pointless debating it, though it would be nice to just enjoy the racing.0 -
we probably could but it doesnt help when one of the main protagonists involved, starts talking about it all again.and without a book to shift it seems, but in a way that sounds even crazier than some of the fan conspiracy theories.0

I think I must have missed that.“I felt for Sutton,” Freeman said. “He’d lost [his role at] British Cycling, he’d fallen out with Bradley, there was some bust-up about a promised Range Rover or something, it didn’t come. Then there was a bust-up between Shane and Cath Wiggins. If you fall out with someone’s wife, that’s the kiss of death.
“So Shane sends me messages: ‘A reporter knows you gave triamcinolone on the back of the bus.’ I thought, ‘Woah, this is [a] set-up’, so I’m not even going to answer the phone, I put him on block. Then a reporter doorstepped [the physio] Phil Burt. I’ve seen Phil Burt’s statement to UK Anti-Doping [Ukad], he told them it was Fluimucil.”
