    Well done Dylan.
    Rick will be stoked.

Not the usual Sky over the line celebration.

Wow Groenwegen by the look of it. Did well to hold off Greipel.

Bouhanni proving again that he's a tier 3 sprinter with a tier 1 mouth.

Clever from Groenewegen getting between Kristoff and his lead-man, I wonder if the lead-man knew Groenewegen, not Kristoff, was behind before he pulled off.
    And what a long sprint, 300 m?

Well held sprint, all looked quite comfortable.

Chris Froome's 4th fluffed audition for a job on Jackanory there. Why doesn't he just give talking a go, he obviously finds it difficult when he has to read words at the same time.

    And what a long sprint, 300 m?

He got brought there to #2 spot and then chose the Katusha wheel as it came to the front - spent a good 200m in the wind and playing argy bargy wit Kristoff.

It's the first sprint he's done in the Tour where he didn't have to stop pedalling at some point.

He also seems to do better in the rain....

The Dutch were quite excited for today - lots of chat about having a real sparkle in his eyes after yesterday's TT.

I'm curious what Rigo said to Froome - It looked like congrats to a level that took Froome back a bit.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Well at least now the Lotto-Jumbo team car that parks around the corner from my apartment will be back and I can look at it and feel happy rather than a vague sense of disappointment.

He finished last, 6-02 down (but only 11 secs behind the next-to-last and only a minute or so behind a group of half-a-dozen which included the likes of Cummings, Roglic and Geshke).

He did wait a long time for a new wheel, the mechanic concerned looked so incompetent, he has probably risked his job.

Interesting that Froome needed yet another bike change. Don't the Sky mechanics know how to charge Di2 batteries? :)

Amazing that they had a spare yellow Pinarello on the car as well!

    I'm so pleased for Dylan.

I do think lotto need to get better at putting him in the right place - something the guys at DD do exceptionally well (look how flattering it is to third row sprinter EBH).

With fewer teams to battle the plan worked out for lotto for once. He can wrestle and bang about a bit (though I noticed he consistently lost out to both Demare and Bouhani in week one) and he has the speed - we saw that in last year's Tour.

His positioning in the final 1500 does need work though.

In reality he was in the wrong spot again but had the legs to make up for it.

He has absolutely the proper sprinter mentality. He's been very hungry for a win in the Tour and that has never really died down.

Takes a lot of mental strength at 24 to be consistently beaten and still doing it on the final day.

Though he would admit himself Kittel crashing has a lot to do with it. Think he even said a few days ago on Kittel's exit "yeah it's bad for him and bad for the race, so I feel for him; it's good for me though."

Lotto certainly picked two big stages for their wins; couldn't be more different.

A bit unfair. How many other sports people are expected to make a speech to the crowd and world media in 2 languages half an hour after winning a major sports event. Granted it would be far better if he was interviewed on the podium.

    Wegen.

    Green roads, literally.

    Nominative determinism innit.
