Black shorts for Bling, keeping it classy :D

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank Blazing and ATC for the tremendous previews for each of the spoiler threads for this years Tour. Often more fun than the stages themselves; it's great work folks :D

Pity he couldnt get the right green for his helmet though... loses style points accordingly.:lol::lol:

It always amazes me how the clothing providers manage to get new colour combinations so quickly, e.g. Matthews new shorts with the tasteful green stripe.

And these Donnons des Elles au Vélo women who rode the whole route to try and raise the status of women's cycling are freaking awesome.

Another dull fact. In the last 30 years, almost 50% of Tours have been won on Pinarellos. 14 out of 30.

It's definitely worth a trip, because you get to do the horrible Mont du Chat as well and if you survive spend the afternoon on the very nice beach on the lake in Aix-Les-Bains.

If ya count Lance & Contador (which you should) imagine the rest were mainly Treks.

Interesting seeing who spends time saying well done to Chris, who gives a quick wave and who doesn't bother.

Well, if you're a nerd anyway.

Can Landa still take 2 seconds of Bardet to clinch 3rd? I know today's stage isn't supposed to be competitive but 1 or 2 seconds is do-able

Won't Sky be finishing in formation at the back of the field though? I would imagine it's more likely that the commissaires will deduct a few seconds just to make things more clear cut for Bardet's podium credentials.

Probably not. Firstly, they don't have that much time to play with and secondly, they won the team competition so they all get have their photo on the podium instead.

Although some of Indurain's bikes were not Pinarellos... just over-stickered :-)

Most of the team kit/equipment sponsors provide the teams with kit in the various tour colours just in case... The same with frames. Although they usually only provide frames for team leaders. I reckon Froome's yellow bike was actually built up before the Tour even started.

I remember a few years ago there was a picture inside one of the team trucks and there was a yellow built up bike ready...
