If it isn't for his team, Froome won't be winning this. Exceptional performance by Kwiato and co. only for Froome to poop on their effort at the end. Hmm....

Well Sky cocked that up. Froome seems to think he's Valverde. He isn't

Froome should practice what he preaches and let Landa ride for GC.

    Under cooked.
    Another GT double miscalculation.

Right now though, Astana need yellow, like they need Tom Dumoulin's used shorts.

Froome will still win this. Sky are too strong on 'normal' climbs, and Froome will do better on the longer drags at riding down attacks.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Gave it away for a couple of days in the 2015 Tour.

Great for Bardet, probably good for Sky to let Aru and Astana do the work until the Alps.
Froome's never been good on the 20% stuff.

Not sure, Froome didn't lose much, have they got away with a bad day or played into the hands of more explosive finishers?

Maybe Froome was a gel or two short of a gel or two.

Predictable: obviously right at the end, non, but boring? for sure.
The predictable train followed by less than 1km of GC action.

Maybe Froome's gameplan involved expecting not to gain time on this stage, but minimise expected losses?
