    Not sure it wasn't his arm or shoulder, rather than collar bone, but totally agree that we didn't need extended footage of it. Hope he makes a swift recovery.

    Didn't see the cause of the crash, or even whether it was uphill or downhill. Roads are damp and could be a few wet leaves about though.

    All he has to do is sit on the back of the break, as opposed to his spot in the train at the front of the Peloton.

    As for Sunweb and Matthews. They must realise intermediate sprint comes after the 2 HC climbs....

    Interesting use of the word 'all' there...

    The break would be ridden down within 500m if Thomas were in it. If the elastic was even allowed to snap in the first place. Thomas would need to be driving it on, or it isn't going anywhere.

    Yeah, but he has to get into a break in the first place. Given the likely reaction of literally every other team with GC ambitions, that's going to require a hell of a lot of work.
