The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    1 Pinarello Dogma F10 7547
    2 Specialized Tarmac 2940
3 Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 1826
    4 Giant TCR SL0 1280
5 Specialized Venge ViAS Disc 1270
    6 Trek Emonda SLR 1266
    7 BMC Teammachine SLR01 1029
    8 Cervelo R5 865
    9 Factor O2 778
    10 Colnago V2-R 685
    11 Other 397
    12 Merida Reacto 257

Pretty obvious that was going to happen.

The surrey league is full of Tarmacs, Aeroads, Propels/ TCR’s etc. the granfondo scene has quite a few Dogma’s involved and other exotic/ overpriced rubbish.

Who on earth rides a vias disc?

No Cannondale or worse still Bianchi in that list?

It seems that people like bikes when they are ridden by successful teams. Another surprising exception is Scott, since they are quite a high ranking team and they are title sponsors. Apparently still better known for mountain bikes.

I think the problem for Scott was that they almost perfected the balance of lightness, stiffness and aesthetics when they created the Addict SL back in 2009(?). I’ve ridden quite a few bikes to compare, but I ride a 2010 Addict SL. The frame weighs 747g, and can’t imagine needing anything that does anything more than it does. I can only explain the apparent lack of media hoo haa about Scott as a result of most of the top end carbon frame manufacturers offering bikes that cost/ride comparably. Or Scott having a sh!t PR dept.

yep, compared to the rim brake one it looks odd for some reason. also the smaller frames ( medium and below) are shorter in stack height and look far more purposeful.

it doesn't help having a red background. Now if the bike was all matt black, including cockpit and bar tape, then photographed against a black background with the lights turned off...

The bars look a bit MC Escher(ish) - like the stairs. Just blink and they change.

Fork looks too shallow for the headstock, cassette far too big and how many spacers?

    Now we can see al the pro bikes for 2018, I think the Bora Specialized has one of the best paint schemes even if I'm not a massive fan of the bike;

The fade on the Moviestar canyons is quite refreshing ( it was cool on the Cannondales back in the 90s).

Hint; if it was cool in the '90s, there's a 75% chance it's also cool now.

Has been like that for the past 3 years.
