Apparently Stannard has attacked off the front. Five others with him including Dowsett.
Tricky keeping up on Twitter/BC feed. Might give it up and wait for highlights on ES later0 -
Oliver Naesen (AG2R) new Belgian champion0
-
Dillier (BMC) Swiss champion0
-
Ryan Mullen took the Irish RR title to add to his ITT title0
-
Italian race sounds good. 15km to go Aru gone solo (30" advantage) Nibali being dropped.0

Jungels retains his Luxembourg national jumper0

Kennaugh, Stannard and Dowsett (+5 others) have the lead. Dibben and Cummings trying to bridge the 15" gap.
Confusing Brother claim Stannard is in the group, BC say group of 7 with no Stannard.
Cummings has made the front.0 -
I thought the BBC had covered the UK nationals for a few years now. Am I getting confused or, if not, why have they dropped it? Shame as it's a great course for a bike race.0
-
Aru takes the Italian title0
-
Dibben and Tao have bridged over to the lead group. BC now saying Stannard is in lead group. 31 miles to go.
Lead group now 14 riders. Cav a looooong way back.0 -

You're getting confused, can't remember BBC ever having televised the nats?
Actually, I vaguely remember it being on TV when it was in Glasgow?0 -

Or was that the Commonwealth Games RR?0 -
Kennaugh chute! < Apparently that was a fib.
Lead group now whittled down to 6. Kennaugh is one of them. Lawless, Bibby, Cummings, Swift, Dibben0 -

ITV4 have had highlights since at least 2012 when Stannard won, it was shown live by Eurosport for 3 years in a row in Wales, Lincoln and Stockton. Cav's win in Glasgow was 1 hrs worth of highlights on ITV4.0 -
Stannard and Thwaites rejoin the lead group0
-
No idea what is going on now. BC very tardy in tweeting race updates (their ticker is their Twitter feed). #roadchamps is full of people moaning or trying to be witty. Ok, so there are highlights later but I'd be pretty miffed to be part of the Manx group that brought the champs to their island as coverage is dire.0

Steve Cummings 12 seconds ahead, last lap0
-
Now 27" with under 5km to go0
-
Seems to have been a good race with attacks all over the place. Cummings getting his gig for July!0
-
Yes following teamDD on twitter less than 2km to go Steve still out front0
-
Cummings doubles up! Chapeau0
-
Aru wins in Italy“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0
-
Hope Steve smiles a lot from now! Excellent stuff0
-
how did Cav do ? Wasnt really his course but home race for him0
-

Was well down last I seen. If that course had been anywhere else I don't think he'd have bothered racing.0 -
