Queen stage today, think they've got a couple of hills nearly as big as Box Hill today.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

What's Queenie got do with it? Pesky Royals. They interfere with everything.
I just nipped to the Kharzi and all hell breaks loose.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Livened things up a bit, what? Didn't see it myself, but I'll pass my ill advised comments on it anyway. Poor Tom, expensive shite that may turn out to be.
I'm assuming that Nibs stared it all and that old granny Nairo had no option but to follow. Am I right? Do I care?0 -
Anyone stopped for a sh!t today?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Zakarin started it, Nibbles and Teeny had a quick chat, then followed Zakarin anyway.0 -
Knew there had ti be a pesky russian involved. HeRd that konyshev told him to curb his enthusiasm.0

Good stage today, oui?0

Mais oui. All very French. Rolland went all Virenque. Wegelius had a wobbly bottom lip and Flecha bubbled up.
Lesson 1 in how to be caught out:
1. When in a biggish group and someone attacks, do nothing, expect someone else to chase.
2. Don't work together to bring him back.
3. Follow wheels.
4. Don't take a headwind in the face, it will tire you out.
Simples.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Good work by Rolland's wing man.
Messed the group up perfectly. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Tom to lose pink tha morras.0

He did but he could not have done it if there was sufficient motivation and input form the others. How many in that group?
Tom might loose pink but there's another TT. I think he would be happy to loose say 1 min to NQ and slightly less to Nibs.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

One bad apple can spoil a barrel, and a peloton is fairly rotten in the first place. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

The GC guys will have only tomorrow to put a gap iton TD.
Nice bit of posturing by him today. If he wins, he'll be a worthy winner.
Poor old Landa. Will he ever learn?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Good stage I thought for TD. He looks strong. If Nibbles and teeny wont race a massive Dutch guy up a hill they deserve to lose. I have a reasonably large e/w bet on Pinot at 15-1 so a goodish day for me. Come on the French underachiever...0

Today was the day that Tom became a major contender to be the best of this generation.
If not the day he simply became the main man of this generation. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I'm wondering if he contests the TdF next year if he wins the Giro.
With all due respect to Jungels, I am happy about Yates being in white. It's only 18 seconds but he is such a likeable guy. Think Jungles might take it back in the TT. We'll see,
Rob Hatch however...seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Jungels has a stupid head.0

All eyes on tomorrow to see what the time gaps are going to be into the final TT.
It's wonderfully close.
I see Yates has 1 min 32 approx. on Jungels and that Landa took my advice.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Reckon it's granny Nairo's to lose now.0

Tomorrow's stage could be epic as Nibs and Quinti can't rest on their current advantage going in to the TT. It's not enough.
The problem for TD is that his Sunweb team is not as strong as Movistar or Bahrain Merida.
Quintana did not look like a happy guy in Pink on the rollers doing his cool down'; he looked pre-occupied.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

The problem for TD is that his Sunweb team aren't very good at all.

FTFY
BTW my daughter has become obsessed with recycling and wants me to take her to a recycling plant. She was so not impressed when I tol her it was just a bit of tarmac with some skips on it.0 -

No, i mean she's become totally mental about it, hand gestures and everything. She can't understand why we still need to cut down trees for paper. She's got me googling tin can production and all sorts of shite.0
