I am only following this race through PTP... I felt like I should make picks to try and keep up my current good run from the Classics, but I am doing abysmally... Glad I haven't watched the race either as it sounds fairly dull.0

Interesting sprint. Froome in Elia's leadout train. Swift sat on Elia's wheel. Edmondson took a flier, looked like he was going to take it but ran out of steam.0

Twitter showing argument between Reza & Moscon after the finish. Twatters suggesting racism, but maybe Reza thought he was impeded.0

Seems racial abuse is another thing ignored by the UCI who prefer to let them teams deal with it internally. Like tripping the biopassport0 -
Yates takes the stage and GC lead with Porte second having bridged a 50 secs gap on the final climb. Froome nowhere, about 1'15 down at the finish.
Some stunning scenery as the sun came out but lots of fresh snow in the higher mountains.0 -
what Dorset Boy said
Decent final 20km
Yates and Porte v impressive
Fenton looks a bit Fenton 2014. Having said that, he'll go and rip the Dauphine now0 -

Racism is an issue in the peloton for sure, and expressions of it need to be cracked down on hard - personally I don't care whether it's UCI or teams doing the cracking down, but it's bloody unacceptable0 -
Not getting sent home ? Not acceptable.0

If only Kirby could sum up so succinctly. Well done.
The riders managed to make bit of a silk purse out of the organiser's sow's ear course."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
