Or some French Robinson Crusoe, also in black and white.

Mind you, everything was b&w on our telly.

    The Lone Ranger.

Slightly before my time I know but...

The Lone Ranger is in deep trouble having come off Silver, injured and surrounded by bandits. He beckons Tonto over and whispers in his ear... Tonto's eyes light up. Hours later Tonto comes back with a woman over his shoulder. "Nooo Tonto, come here". The lone Ranger whispers again into his ear... A day later Tonto comes back with a woman on each shoulder. "FFS Tonto, go and get the bloody Posse".

Anyone remember "Dark Skies" from the 1990s? Similar sort of thing to X Files, but good TV in its own right, probably would have been more successful if it hadn't been overshadowed.

The word "obscure" obviously means different things to different people.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I'm embracing a wider sense that includes programs that still leave me mystified as to why they were made.

Anyone remember Belle & Sebastian from the old days when kids TV in the summer amounted to badly dubbed French TV series.

Also in the late 70s was Project UFO. An American tv series based on the real Project Blue Book. It was great tv for me as a young lad, fascinated with UFOs and SciFi stuff.
Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.
