Part of me wouldn't mind living on the Holly Lodge estate; the other part of me is pretty certain that the lease is full of all sorts of weird requirements and expectations!

Don't worry - I didn't take photos to share and tempt you into an impromptu London visit with a brown envelope.

The flats are small and houses are really expensive. Also, they all seem to manage to not have a view which is stunning achievement given their location.

Here's an alternative shot of Highgate to counter your blue.

Agreed re the view - never been in any of the properties.

That's looking down Highgate Hill, right? What year was it taken?

We have a project there. It does seem to have a bit of an odd clientele. That weird London mix of stupid property value combined with a general air of dilapidation.

Are you giving them a nice view or is that not allowed due to conservation rules?

I've only visited on a grey drizzly day, so there was no view anyway, but no, we can't change the front of the house at all.

    I like this one.

I've been looking for this one that I took in slightly different conditions a few years ago. The resolution isn't very good though for some reason, it was an incredible sunrise though - I was walking with my back to it and wondered what people were photographing behind me.

I think I've seen that tree photographed before, possibly Oakley Images on Instagram who you may know (cyclist down your way who used to post on here years ago).

It was just a random tree I passed today and liked the look of. It hadn't been attacked by Mr Farmer with his rampant flailing, which seems rare around here.
    Not sure about Oakley.

He's Steve Reynolds, based in Haverfordwest and does a lot of pictures on the beaches over that way. Not a professional but takes some very good photos.

Worth looking him up on Flickr, some superb Pembrokeshire images on there. Was going to insert an example on here but will try to work out how to do a link instead as they're copyrighted.
