Not mine, I just found it pleasing...

That looks oddly photoshopped! My brain's telling me to stop trying to work it out...

Looks like a model layout where someone has put up a picture to create the back ground.

An impromptu London skyline, taken yesterday evening as I wondered around with a 50mm prime lens...

Yep, off the balcony of the apartment I rented in Melbourne last week. This is it, slightly different angle, a little earlier in the evening... and a different filter..

Thank you. I bought a nice little wide angle AF lens off the Bay that fits my camera mount, not expecting much but am astonished at the detail it captures.

They're both great photos. What lens is it you bought?

    It's a Sigma 19mm f2.8 "Art" series, for a Sony APSC camera, E mount. Paid $85. Bargain!

Sometimes you can just point and shoot. Done with a £120 phone.

  • ^^ Lovely. Timing is everything :-)

There's a swampy pond/bay up the road from me, which when the tide's right gets a few swans in to feed. It has the potential of a shot like that, but every time I drive past the wind is up, the light is wrong, the tide is out, the birds are gone... and it just looks (and smells) like a swamp. One day....

With the Exe it's normally a plonker in a boat who screws it up...

Last time for me it was a prat throwing inedible bread for the swans.
Wrong on so many levels.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Wow, that's an awesome shot.
I've had images printed in newspapers and shown on the BBC's as picture of the day which were taken using a mobile phone - despite having an SLR, the phone's always with me for those "moments"...
