There's a swampy pond/bay up the road from me, which when the tide's right gets a few swans in to feed. It has the potential of a shot like that, but every time I drive past the wind is up, the light is wrong, the tide is out, the birds are gone... and it just looks (and smells) like a swamp. I've had images printed in newspapers and shown on the BBC's as picture of the day which were taken using a mobile phone - despite having an SLR, the phone's always with me for those "moments"...Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.
