My Man 2017 Guillaume Martin to be WGG's leader.

Hopefully he can break through and get a top 10.

Blimey that's a big ask this year? - not sure how he would do in the second week?? - but good his name is in the mix

He did well last year considering he was a neo, had an operation in December and didn't start training again until end Feb.

I think he could do pretty well.

2017 Tour will be very close. Quintana, Yates A, Bardet will push Froome all the way, Lopez too if he recovers from his injury early enough.

Quintana is riding the Giro now, whether it's prep or he races hard is anyone's guess. I assume many are going the Giro route as Sky/Froome's dominance is too strong.

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I can't see Quintana doing anything but going all-out in the Giro.

Agree on why loads are doing the Giro, but the route also is a factor.

Cycling French hope Alaphilippe to miss Tour de France

"I can't tell you how sad I am, there's really no words. The Tour de France was my primary goal of the year, and to miss it, after previously being forced to skip the Ardennes Classic, it's very disappointing," the 24-year-old, who underwent surgery on Wednesday, said in a team statement.

"Now my focus is on making a full recovery and arriving in a good condition for the second part of the year."

Shame he won't to there to help bring stages alive.
