Oh, and before any smart ars* answers >> you can't sell it.

If I was allowed to change the colour, I'd have one of the Factor's that AG2R are on.

If I couldn't, then I'd have a Team Sky Dogma (I live in Germany, so I could use it here without people thinking I'm a c*ck).

I'm sure there are better bikes out there but a Trek Madone. All my other bikes are Trek's so might as well take the top line one for free.

Question is, what excuse will I need to use for not being any quicker ?

If it had to be WT then those Factors look very nice. From MSR teams I would like a Gazprom (or whatever they are called now) Colnago. I felt it was a shame for poor old Cannondale to get two bikes into the MSR break (cleverly a disc and a non-disc model) ; but the camera men - understandably - dwelt on the two Colnagos and the Factor

Tho I'd probably put Campag on it instead of the Shimano bits...
  • UAE Colnago or Bora Tarmac (has green metallic flecks in the black paint)

Photographed all of them and for me, those are the standout bikes in the peloton.

I also have a soft spot for the LTS Ridley Helium SLX, although I don't know why ha.

    dish_dash you'd go Oltre XR2 instead of XR4?

I'd go Venge disc or Pinarello Dogma F10 or Bianchi Oltre XR4 in black/celeste (albeit black bikes are tediously boring).

edit: Would go Factor Slick for a TT bike though!

    Ooops!

Clearly wasn't paying attention when I posted the pic... XR4...

Also agree with Bobmcstuff... that "seat tube/top tube strut thing" thing on the BMC is rank...

That's because I am the arbiter of taste.

I'd probably take an XR4 as well.

Why have I only just foud out about Manzana Postobon http://manzanapostobonteam.com/ . I could have been riding about in a pink jersey all season long.

If I can find it only it could be this years team kit.

Does that picture above show the world's steepest downhill finish?

You don't want to do MSR lunge for the line there!

If this years black and especially white kit was in the package, I'll take one too! Looks really fantastic.

Surprised no one has mentioned (unless i missed it) these beauties. They save 4.2 watts and only cost a grand...

I can see them now already, attached to the pedals of a Triathlon bike as it's pushed through transition 1 - outer shells only!! :?

I like the concept...thin inner for summer, thicker one for winter.

Thought I read something in the PR sheet about how the shoe has been tasked with helping riders pedal the full 360 degrees of the crank rotation...how does it do that, and why do current shoe designs fail to achieve it???

Several articles mention this, but none (including on the Mavic website) actually say how it is achieved.

I think this statement - "The Energy Shell Carbon offers 360° power transfer and transmits all the energy delivered by the racer to the bike" is summed up in the word 'offers'.

You means that lightweight, ventilated, footwear that can be worn (if you are Rick, and visiting the City), with white socks?

Niiiiice. I might just screw some cleats in to the bottom of my feet. That will probably save about 8 watts and be an even lower stack height

Might be worth giving Prendas Ciclismo a call to see if they can source it
