It's basically a pursuit with a bunch of hangers on. Froome looks knackered.

I don't think Froome has the legs to do anything

Quintana will get mugged for the time bonuses unless he can attack.
  • Control freak free racing = exciting racing

Valverde is clever as he attacks to break up the rhythm

They're exactly the same people with exactly the same equipment as they were when you were moaning.

Chase group splitting and Froome having to work hard to get back. OBE possibly regretting what looked like brilliant tactics yesterday, they are doing little to nothing to help close the gap.

Looks like Froome might get dropped here!

    Quite.
  • It's clearly a cunning plan by Sky to disguise their doping. Or at least I'm guessing that's the consensus in the clinic

Quintana riding the competition off his wheel so may manage some bonus seconds. 2.10 between the two groups.

Froome does that all the time, to be fair.
  • Waiting for Kirby to point out that the much-maligned Sky team here is their Grand Tour 2nd 9 bar CF. If Sky could afford to have 14+ high quality mountain domestiques and rouleurs they'd another few million on the budget.

Riders riding off the front of the Froome group while he hangs on the back of group 3. He's going to lose 2.30 here.
  • nice climb... rough, not manicured!

Not this time, it's the real deal.

Contador dropped, just Brabilla and Nairo racing for the stage now.

Brambilla gets his reward for causing the initial carnage.
