Is no one watching this?

PROFIL.png

It's all gone mental.

Groups all over the road. Froome in a group with Chaves nearly a minute down on Teeny Tana with just under 100k to go.

    Nothing much happening.
Only Froome being isolated, Quintana and Contador off up the road, most of Team Sky in group 4 and he is getting attack by everybody.
The Tour of Britain is where it's at. :P

  • Cheers Mrs Moo ... Was just about to start a thread, as you say it's gone off already with Quintana & Contador a minute up on a teamless Froome before we even get to a proper climb ...
Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.
  •   IT IS PROPER MENTAAAAAAAAL

All we need now is for Lil' Pete to get punted down a ravine.

Were Sky fast asleep at the start? Seems bizare to let Contador and Quintana get away.

Ad break. Good, I need the loo.

  • Konig, Kennaugh and the rest of Sky are 5 minutes down.

They have sat up and are arguing with the rest of the peloton.

    Almost 6 minutes now.

C'mon Bertie please prove me wrong!

  • Ulrika are obviously knackered after yesterday as well. There's loads of them in the Grupo Froome/Chaves but they can't seem to do much. It seems to be being left to Lopez.

Bloody t'riff. Great tactics from Bert and Tinky and Teeny Tana and MOV

Orica, Cannondale and Astana (and Movistar) have numbers in the Froome group but no-one seems keen to make an actual effort ... Given Tinkoff don't have that many numbers in group 1 it's obviously motivation that's the issue ...

Edit: I'll forgive Cannondale, they have a couple of riders in the front group ...

Sky calling in some favours from Astana by the looks of it.

  • Astana pile onto the front. They have a lot of troops.

  • Just switched it on.

Why did Froome lose almost all his troops? Seems very odd. And to see that Quintana is up the road with a few mins gap is odd too, Sky must have been sleeping to let that happen.

Ha ha but at what cost?

Hope Froomey likes the colour turquoise. His contract will be waiting for him

Contador repeating his tactics from a few years ago when he jumped Purito on the desfilliado up to Potes in Cantabria.

Vino must have missed Uran leaving Sky
  • It ain't gonna happen folks.
The breakaway are working as a unit and the gap is growing.
Collectively, they at least match the chase group in willing man power and that's if they all fully contribute.

I can't see Froome getting this back. He can reduce the damage by teaming up with Chaves & Yates on the final climb, but it won't be enough. They've only got themselves to blame.

It was only mildest of climbs almost straight out of neutral methinks
  • The Doperati are gonna struggle with this

Ah, Sky trying to throw the Truth Searchers off the scent, I suppose
