That's some willpower from Yates, lost 31s to Quintana by my reckoning but 56s to Bardet.

Handful of seconds lost for Froome, Porte got dropped along with Yates. 2nd for Purito or Valverde, didn't catch it?

Froome loses a few seconds which is a real result for him given the circumstances.

Porte blew up in a big way andfinished just ahead of Yates.

    Mollema is miles back :(

Yeah, there's good reasons for taking as much time as you can early on in this race. When you need the buffer, it's there.

Damage limitations done well there today. Bardet second on GC.

I must be in a minority who think this has been a pretty decent Tour.

We moan about it not being the Tour for 49 weeks of the year and then complain every day its on.

    Well done Romain.

Feel for Mollema there, 4' 27'' but I'm a bit of a Bardet fan as well.

Fair play, that's a great effort from Bardet. Disappointed for Yates and Mollema.

Bardet and Quintana to put Froome under pressure tomorrow? I suppose it depends on the effects of the crash and the effort on the wrong bike from Froome.

I think there's a chance of wet weather again tomorrow and plenty of descending to do... no summit finish though.

Bardet will fancy that descent into Morzine tomorrow...

Descent into Morzine could be mental if there are seconds in it for GC, Sean Kelly hit 125kph down there butthere are some tricky technical sections as well. If its wet...

The Joux Plane descent is bound to add great comedy value to the GC, if it rains.
A chaotic finish sees Mr Cardboard crawl onto the bottom rung of the podium.

Froome's shoulder looked a bit of a mess.

Quintana is a very lucky man.

Onto the podium, 9s up on Yates, when Yates dropped him on Ventoux but was given the same time (and Quintana held onto a moto).
