Whoop Whoop!
Albertville - Saint Gervais Mont Blanc 146km
Pretty much the last chance for the places 2 - 6 to rearrange themselves and fight for place on the podium behind King Froome of Kenya
Weather looks to be tricky with Thunderstorms predicted to start around 1pm and last for a couple of hours.
ITV4 has coverage Live: 12pm-4.30pm so should get most of the early action

It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0

If we see Froomey and Ritchie up the road today, I can see a stage win and some bonus seconds being gifted to the little man. Looks like it's going to be an exciting finish, that's for sure.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0

The only thing we will see up the road before the final few kms is the breakaway and this:-

There's someone with a huge capacity to get excited 'Do not compare your bike to others, for always there will be greater and lesser bikes'0 -

It's like you're wishing everything possible to happen to neutralise racing so your beloved team sky & Froome can do well....!0

At least the start in Albertville is bone dry, if overcast.

I thought some folks have felt they have been watching neutralisation for the last 3 weeks.
At least it saves them the trouble of wasting 4 hours, with the same result."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Because 1 inch of rubber clearly offers more electrical resistance than 2 miles of air !0 -
No official figures for the number of starters on Race Centre this morining. Anyone her know of any riders dropping out?
Edit: 177 - figure has just appeared on Race Centre0 -
If they let the break get an uncatchable lead again maybe they deserve a few (non-lethal) bolts of lightning.0

But if riders and bikes are already soaking wet? Not an unlikely scenario in a thunderstorm...0 -

Still not the most obvious target unless you're solo on a barren mountain, non?0 -
That was quick to say the least.
Breakaway gone because all the usual suspects have made it, I suppose."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

It is not raining at moment in Areches Beaufort - which is pretty close to the HC climb0

5 out of 6 mountain breaks have made it to the finish.
So something definitely not in common with Postal."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

The breakaway already 5 minutes behind the slowest schedule.
